John Bere

BOARD CHAIR

John is a seasoned investment banker with over 25 years experience, 10 of which have been in senior management and directorship positions. He’s areas of expertise range from Treasury management ,Risk Management, Process Improvents and Financial and Business Analysis. John has also sat on various boards in various industries and currently Chairs The BOOST Fellowship Board, a for non profit organization that specializes in entrepreneurial training for students in universities.Part of his responsibilities in this role have been to represent African on the Council of Chairman Board Committee that advises the Enactus Worldwide Board, that the BOOST Fellowship is affiliated to. 

⁠Nqobile Ndlovu

Board Member

Nqobile is the Managing Partner of Titan Law, and leads the Banking, Finance and Investments Practice Group, given her expertise in banking, insurance, the capital markets and financial technology. Her practice also includes Corporate Governance, Company Law, Commercial Transactions, Regulatory Compliance, as well as Anti-Money Laundering. She is a registered Legal Practitioner, Conveyancer and Notary Public with the High Court of Zimbabwe, who holds an LLB Degree from the University of Cape Town (2006), and an MBA with the University of Gloucestershire (2020)Prior to joining Titan Law, Nqobile held the roles of General Counsel and Board Secretary for international banking, insurance, and securities exchanges institutions.

Lena Zamchiya

Board Member

Lena Zamchiya is the Co-founder of the BOOST Fellowship. She is also the former Regional Vice-President of Africa for SIFE International now Enactus. Lena holds an MBA from Howard University in Washington, DC, she has worked in the United States in the telecommunications sector before returning to Zimbabwe. Lena is a graduate of the Executive Development Program from The University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business.

Mubuso Zamchiya

Mubuso Zamchiya is Co-founder for the BOOST Fellowship. He is also the former Pennsylvania Regional Director for Imagine Schools, one of the largest charter school operators in the United States. Ropafadzo Mbongeni Bhebhe

Board Member

Ropafadzo Mbongeni Bhebe is the Head of Legal, Compliance, and Risk at Veritran Pvt Ltd t/a ZSS. A qualified Legal Practitioner in Zimbabwe and a Certified Data Protection Officer, she brings over a decade of diverse legal and compliance experience across banking, finance, and financial technology. Her core competencies include regulatory compliance program design, corporate governance, data protection, and anti-money laundering, with a proven track record of embedding regulatory strategies that strengthen institutional resilience and accountability.

With a strong foundation in project management, business development, and research, Paul specialize in transforming complex concepts into practical solutions through strategic consultancy, pitch coaching, and execution support including one-on-one pitch deck formulation and delivery through PitchOne2One.Paul is the founder of The Sparkle Group, leading a high-performing team delivering premium cleaning, vehicle detailing, and facility maintenance solutions to clients across industrial, commercial, and residential sectors (www.sparklegroup.net).

Manfred Chaniwa

A seasoned business development and operations executive with over two decades of progressive leadership experience across the automotive, financial services, petroleum, and engineering sectors in Southern Africa. Currently serving as Head of Business Development at Isoquant Investments (ZIMOCO), where he spearheaded the launch of the HAVAL brand in Zimbabwe, rebranded the company, and significantly expanded market share. Recognized for strategic vision and operational execution, has consistently driven growth, increasing sales volumes, and negotiating high-value partnerships. Notable achievements include growing a financial portfolio from US$100 million to US$170 million within a year, reintroducing key automotive brands to the market, and reviving struggling business units across multiple industries.

Brenda Kufandirori

Brenda is a Chartered Accountant and an experienced finance professional with more than 10 years post qualification experience. Brenda trained with Deloitte and her exposure cuts across UAE, United States of America, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Brussels. Prior to joining Masawara she served Nedbank Zimbabwe Limited for close to 6 years as a senior manager responsible for performance management and strategy execution. She is skilled in financial reporting, management accounting, strategy and budgeting.
