Busisiwe Marandure ~ Executive Director Busisiwe Marandure started out as a volunteer for the organization and now serves as the Executive Director for the BOOST Fellowship Trust and the Country Leader for Enactus Zimbabwe. She is passionate about youth development in Zimbabwe after having spent most of her early adult years in the United States of America where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison New Jersey and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. Her career spans over 17 years of progressive management experience in the USA where she worked for Allstate Insurance, Erie Insurance, Selective Insurance and most recently State Auto Insurance. This is what she had to say when asked why she comes to work every day: “What I love most about my job is meeting our alumni and fellows who have been through our program and can speak to the fact that the program impacted and transformed their lives and played a pivotal role in their success. There is nothing more rewarding than investing in young people as the dividends are far reaching and will live on for generations to come” Busi is married to Darlick Marandure and they have 3 sons which has ignited her passion in young people and she tells her sons every day that “you are your brother’s keeper!” Charity Bafana ~ Programs Director Charity joined BOOST in June 2017 as the Business Development Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences Degree in Organisational Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with the University of Cape Town. She has Post Graduate Certificate in Project Management with the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and is currently studying for her Masters Degree in Organisational and Business Psychology with University of Liverpool. For 10 years Charity has worked with youth from disadvantaged backgrounds both in Zimbabwe and South Africa. She is passionate about ensuring organisations have the human and technical capacity to be able to execute its mission effectively. Trinity Tatenda Moyo ~ Programs Coordinator Trinity joined BOOST in February 2016 as an intern and is now the Southern Region Programme Coordinator. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Social Anthropology from Great Zimbabwe. Citizen Anthropologists, Holding various accolades across fields both academic and sport. Accomplished Public Speaker and debate coach, Life skills trainer. Motivated by the desire to facilitate continuity and empowering young people in the human development field through implementation of acquired and innate skills. Darlington Tongofa ~ Programs Coordinator Darlington is the Program Coordinator, and he joined BOOST as an intern in 2016. Darlington earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Development Studies from Midlands State University. A result oriented individual with great ability in dealing with people, organisations and stakeholders. A dependable professional with three years of experience in the civil society space at both secretariat and consultancy levels and a perfectionist who devours for the best out of any situation. Professionally and technically competent in Capacity Strengthening, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research, Conference Facilitation and Training, Report writing, Proposal writing and fundraising and any other development which takes the public on board. Tinashe Mushonga ~ Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Tinashe joined BOOST in October 2013 as an attache and is now the Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Social Work from Women’s University in Africa. Tinashe leads the BOOST Young Learner’s program, entrepreneurship, internship and mentoring program. Highly conscientious and seasoned community development worker with an excellent community service record and a strong work ethic. Adept in utilizing social networks to identify new opportunities for community development efforts. Able to explain and promote a wide variety of community programs and activities to audiences of all ages and ethnic backgrounds whilst offering a framework to generate economic growth, achieve social justice, exercise environmental stewardship and strengthen governance. Rangarirai Chakamanga ~ Programs Coordinator Rangarirai Chakamanga is an alumni of the BOOST Fellowship Program having started out as a fellow during his University days and joined the organisation in May 2017.He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Peace and Governance from Bindura University of Science Education. Rangarirai is our youth empowerment specialist . His passion mainly lies in empowering young people through green initiatives that are environmentally sustainable and usher economic development in the process. He coordinates the BOOST Green Jobs program that is supported by UNICEF Zimbabwe and the Delta -BOOST Social Responsibility program that is into profitable waste management models in the country.
